Database Options

Colectica Repository is tested to work with the following databases:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher, including SQL Server Express and Azure SQL Database

• PostgreSQL version 13 or higher, including Azure Database for PostgreSQL

Earlier versions of PostgreSQL can be used if a superuser installs the unaccent extension manually. See Create the Repository Database.

The advanced search API is only available with PostgreSQL.

The database schemas are created and upgraded automatically when the application starts.
