Sort Items in a Group#

Groups allow you to organize related items, such as variables, questions, or concepts. You can sort the items in a group by their labels or names.

  1. Navigate to the group whose items you would like to sort.

  2. In the Groups tab of the ribbon, locate the Advanced area.

  3. Choose Sort by Label or Sort by Name.

  4. The items are reordered using the chosen property. Colectica saves the changed group.

The commands sort the items directly in the selected group. They do not sort the contents of its child groups. Sorting changes the order of the references in the group; it does not change the names or labels of the referenced items.
