System Status#

The system status page shows whether each component required to run Colectica Repository is configured and running. It is located at /admin/status.

Components#

Each component is shown with a status of Working or Not working.

Repository Database

Indicates whether Colectica Portal can connect to the Colectica Repository database. The details column shows the size of the database.

Authentication Database

Indicates whether Colectica Portal can connect to its internal authentication database. The details column shows the size of the database.

Elasticsearch

Indicates whether Colectica Portal can connect to Elasticsearch. The details column shows the number of indices on the server. If Elasticsearch is not enabled in appsettings.json, the status is shown as Info with the detail Not configured.

For deployments hosted by Colectica, an additional row shows the database size compared to the limit of the hosting plan.

Elasticsearch Indices#

When Elasticsearch is enabled, the Elasticsearch Indices area lists the indices on the Elasticsearch server whose names begin with the configured Elasticsearch:IndexName prefix. For each index, the name, whether it is a data index used for data extraction, the status, health, store size, and document count are shown.

Reindex Elasticsearch#

When Elasticsearch is enabled, the Reindex button requests a complete rebuild of the Portal’s search index. The index is deleted and recreated the next time the Elastic Indexer runs. While a reindex is pending, the page shows a message instead of the button.

Addins and Parts#

The Addins and Parts area lists all addins and parts that are present in the Colectica Portal system, with the assembly name and the date of the assembly file. See Extensibility.

Health Check Endpoint#

For automated monitoring, Colectica Repository also provides a health check endpoint at /healthz. It returns the plain text Healthy or Unhealthy and checks:

  • the connection to the authentication database,

  • the connection to Elasticsearch, when Elasticsearch is enabled, and

  • free disk space on the disk cache drive and the log drive, using the thresholds in the RepositorySettings:HealthChecks settings.
