Feature Access#
The Feature Access page shows the license that is installed for Colectica Repository,
the features and limits that the license includes, and how much of each is currently in use.
It is located at /admin/feature-access.
Some features, such as the MCP server, are only available when they are included in the license. Other capabilities are listed for information, and are not enforced by the software.
License Status#
The License status area shows whether a valid license is installed, and the product, customer, registration number, and expiration date from the license. The license is checked every time the page is loaded.
Capabilities and Usage#
The Capabilities & usage table lists each capability, whether it is available under your license, and its current usage.
- Portal, REST API
Always available. Usage shows whether each is enabled.
- Elasticsearch, OAI-PMH, MCP endpoint, SSO
Features that may be included in the license. Usage shows whether each is enabled in the configuration.
- CPU cores, Licensed nodes, Database sessions, Editor logins, Database Size, Attachment storage, Outbound bandwidth
Numeric limits. Unlimited indicates no limit. Editor logins counts the users assigned the
ColecticaUserorColecticaAdministratorroles.
A warning icon is displayed when usage exceeds the license allowance.
Activate Online#
If your server can reach the Colectica Store, enter the activation code provided by Colectica in the Activation code field and click Activate. The server requests a signed license from the Colectica Store and installs it.
Upload a License#
If you received a signed license XML file from Colectica, choose it in the License file field and click Upload. The file must be no larger than 1 MB.
Offline Activation#
For servers without internet access, click Download registration request to download a registration file describing the server. Send this file to Colectica to obtain a signed license, and then upload the license as described above.
Note
The license is stored in the repository database, so it is preserved when the software is upgraded.
