Statistical Classifications#
Colectica Portal presents statistical classifications, such as industry or occupation classifications, with pages designed for browsing large sets of items.
Classifications Index#
The page at /classifications lists every classification family in the repository.
Expand a family to see its classification series, and expand a series to see the individual
classifications (versions) within it.
The administrator can add a message to the top of this page using the
Message for /classifications setting in Site Information.
Note
This page is not linked from the navigation bar by default. An administrator can add a link using a custom page or a theme.
Classification Series#
The classification series page lists the classifications in the series, the unit type that is classified, the current classification, and the variants of each classification.
Statistical Classification#
The statistical classification page lists the classification items.
Use the Search box to find items by value, name, label, or description. The Search Target dropdown limits the search to a single field.
Classifications with several levels offer a Hierarchical tab that shows the items as an expandable tree, in addition to the flat list.
Each item has a Classification Item Details button that opens the item’s page, and a Copy Link button that copies a persistent link to the item.
Items whose validity period has passed are marked Expired, and items marked as not valid are marked Invalid.
The classification’s items can be downloaded as CSV or Excel using the URLs
/item/{agency}/{identifier}/{version}/_classification-csv and
/item/{agency}/{identifier}/{version}/_classification-xlsx.
Correspondence Tables#
Correspondence tables between two classifications show the source and target classification items with their codes. A code-only toggle shows just the codes for a compact view.
