Browse and Search Within an Item#
The Browse Inside… and Search inside… commands help you find items within the currently selected item. For example, you can find a question within a particular study or metadata package.
Browse Within an Item#
Navigate to the item whose contents you would like to browse.
In the Explore tab of the ribbon, click Browse Inside….
The item chooser opens with its browse view selected and its scope limited to the selected item and its referenced contents.
Browse to the item you need, select it, and click Select.
Colectica opens the selected item.
Search Within an Item#
Navigate to the item whose contents you would like to search.
In the Explore tab of the ribbon, click Search inside….
In the item chooser, enter your search text and find the item you need. Results are limited to the selected item and its referenced contents.
Select an item and click Select. Colectica opens it.
Both commands use the repository containing the starting item. Canceling the chooser leaves you on the original item.
