The Navigator

The navigation bar is the column on the left hand side of the Colectica window. It is designed to help you find the information you want to view and edit.

The top level items in the navigator represent open files, your local database, and any remote repositories you have configured.

The first button on the navigation bar restores the navigator to its default top level items, collapsing any items you have expanded.

The second button refreshes the displayed nodes, in case any changes have been made that are not reflected in the navigator.

Navigator icons

Each item in the navigator is shown with an icon representing its type. When working with a repository, an additional status icon may appear to the left of the type icon, such as a green arrow indicating that you have unpublished local changes, or a lock indicating that a parent item is out of date.

Panes

Buttons in the lower right corner of the window open panes that show the history of the current item, the progress of background operations, and links to the current item.
