Reuse Questions

With Colectica Questionnaires, questions can be reused in multiple surveys.

Reuse a Single Question

To add an existing question, choose the Repository - Question or Composite Question button from the item palette.

In the item picker that appears, first choose where you would like to find a question.

Next, choose the question you would like to add. If you would like, you can search for questions by entering text in the Search box and then pressing Enter.

Note

When a question is selected, the right side of the window will show other locations where the question is used.

Finally, click the Select button to add the question to your survey.

The question will be added.

Reuse a Sequence of Questions

Sequences of questions can also be reused. To add an existing sequence, choose the Repository - Sequence button from the item palette.

Reuse Static Content

Additional types of items can also be reused, in the same way as questions and sequences. Survey item types that can be reused include:

  • Questions

  • Composite Questions (choice grids, question grids)

  • Sequences

  • Descriptive Text
