Deploy ClamAV

1. Create the c:\clamav\ directory.

2. Create the c:\clamav\db\ directory.

3. Copy installation archive files from PackageDirectory\clamav\win64 into c:\clamav.

4. From the command prompt in c:\clamav.

   1. Download the latest virus definitions by running:

      freshclam
      

   2. Install the clamav service by running:

      clamd --install
      

   3. Install the freshclam service by running:

      freshclam --install
      

5. Open the Windows Services list.

   1. Set StartType to Automatic for both ClamWin Free Antivirus Scanner Service and ClamWin Free Antivirus Database Updater.

   2. Start both the ClamWin Free Antivirus Scanner Service and ClamWin Free Antivirus Database Updater.
