Service Account Permissions

One or more Windows service accounts are used to run Colectica Repository. This section describes the permissions required by the designated service accounts.

Colectica Repository

  • Requires read access to the Colectica Repository database for ColecticaGuest functions
  • Requires write access to the Colectica Repository database for ColecticaUser and ColecticaAdministator functions

Colectica Portal

  • Requires read access to the Colectica Repository database for all viewing functions
  • Requires partial write access to the Colectica Repository database for optional functions
    • Requires write access to the event table for logging
    • Requires write access to the permission, repository, and repository_setting for administration
    • Requires write access to the user_comment and user_rating for user social functions

Colectica Workflow Service

  • Requires read and write access to the Colectica workflow database
  • Requires read access to all source Colectica Repository databases
  • Requires write access to all target Colectica Repository databases
  • Requires read and write access to a temporary metadata directory

  • Requires read and write access to the Colectica workflow database
  • Requires read and write access to a temporary metadata directory
  • Requires read access to all source and target Colectica Repository databases
