Deploy Binaries

1. Locate or obtain the Colectica Repository package. This is named ColecticaRepository-version.zip.

2. Before extracting the Colectica Repository package, make sure Windows does not have the file blocked. To check this:

   1. In Windows Explorer, right click the Zip file and choose Properties.

   2. Near the bottom of the Properties window, in the Security area, see if there is a checkbox labeled Unblock.

   3. If there is an Unblock checkbox, check the box and click OK.

   4. If there is no such checkbox, proceed to the next step.

3. Extract the Colectica Repository package to a folder on your server’s disk to which IIS has access. This location will be referred to as RepositoryDir\.

4. The Colectica Repository package ships with a configuration directory named Config.dist\. Rename this directory to Config\. This means when you upgrade Colectica Repository, your configuration directory will not be overwritten.
